Job Description

As a SSD Development and Validation Technician you will be responsible for Hands on development and Validation of Western Digital newly designed SSD products.

On this role, you will be responsible for probing, debugging, analyzing issues on new product designs. You will also be doing system validation of products following set criteria defined by development engineering teams.   

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or relevant courses.
  • Ability to write, speak and present (communication) in English is a must.
  • Minimum 2-5 years working experience in PCB Failure Analysis or Debug field or product validation.
  • Knowledge in PCB level troubleshooting with reference to Schematic Diagram is a must.
  • Experience with using tools such as Multimeter and Oscilloscope is a must.
  • Knowledge with AOI, 2D x-ray and visual inspection using high power scope.
  • Hardworking and willing to learn new process or method or techniques.
  • Able to work under pressure with multiple tasks on hand.
  • Experience using Advanced Testing and Engineering (ATE) for test is a plus.
