LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide Teardown drive failure analysis on Client and Enterprise products
• Perform drive / drive component failure analytical tests using proper procedures/methods with accurate data analysis as trained by DAS Lab engineer.   
• Support engineer in failure drive tear down analysis on both factory and customer return failures
• Support engineer to maintain equipment performance in order to minimize equipment down time
• Keep our laboratory in clean and neat to ensure reliability data delivery
• Support and follow WDTH HR rules and regulations
• Support and follow Legal requirement (EMS, OHSMS), Regulatory Requirements (Example: RBA, QMS, IMS).
• Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED:

• Diploma or higher with 1-2 yrs experience in related field (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical or equivalent)
• At least 1 years related experiences in disk drive or electronics industry.
• Experienced in FA or analytical instruments (SEM/EDX, AFM, FT-IR etc.) is more advantageous.

PREFERRED:

• Have working experience in hard disk drive or electronics industry
• Experienced in Failure Analysis or analytical instruments (SEM/EDX, AFM, FT-IR, etc.) is more advantageous.
• Contamination analysis or HDD failure analysis background is more advantageous.

• Self-motivated with the ability to effectively multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment
