Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Implement and maintain existing HDD MES applications
  • Write well-designed, testable code
  • Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
  • Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
  • Document and maintain software functionality
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
  • Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
  • Comply with project plans and industry standards
  • Ensure software is updated with latest features
  • Conduct training on new systems / in-house developed application system
  • Work in team with minimum supervision on tight project deadline
  • Require to manage a team of developers
  • Responsible to distribute tasks and monitor developers performance

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • BSc (Hons) in Computer Science or Information Technology with 7 years working experience in relevant field
  • Minimum 6 ~ 7 years in .NET framework programming
  • Proficient in ASP.NET, C#/vb.net, jQuery, MVC, WCF, WinForms, Entity Framework, LINQ
  • Experience in development to support abstract factory pattern with Object Oriented approach
  • Experience development on WCF to provide various communication protocol (http, net.tcp, message) via different channel (JSON, XML, SOAP)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS SQL Server, DB2

PREFERRED:

  • Previous experience as a software developer and experience in manufacturing-related environment would be an added advantage though not mandatory
  • Good in preparing test cases and executing test plan
  • Ability to document requirements and specifications

SKILLS:

  • Demonstrate a good level of English proficiency (written / verbal)
  • Strong listening, communication, interpersonal and relational skills to develop a good relationship within the organization
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in a team environment
