Western Digital's Validation software group, located in Tefen Industrial Park (North), is responsible for high-quality and timely, end-to-end, validation of iNAND flash products for tablets/mobiles/automotive and embedded markets.
As part of the team, you will:

• Become an expert level in flash memory HW, SW, and system architecture
• Become a master in validation domains and features in the manner of design, coordinate and support
• Define validation plans and design and implement validation code to be used in pre/post-silicon platforms including model/simulation, HW/emulation, and host
• Develops methods, processes, procedures and equipment that will improve quality and failure analysis
• Take part in integration and feature/product enabling, bring up and debug activities
• Have a system point of view and failure analysis capabilities
• Have hacking kind of thought
   

• BSc/MSc in CS/EE or equivalent
• 4-7 years’ experience in SW development
• At least 2 years’ experience in C/C++/Python/Java and OOD development
• Excel in Teamwork
• Creative thinker with the ability to operate independently and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and challenging environment
• Experience in validation/verification of complex HW/SW/embedded designs - advantage
• Experience in development of validation/verification environments - advantage
• Experience with flash memory and/or storage protocols – advantage
