Job Description

Western Digital is looking for an experienced ASIC Developer to join our highly skilled team, which oversees definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development.

In this position you will:

  • Take ownership of definition of blocks, subsystems of best-in-class word-wide complex IPs
  • Take ownership on micro-architecture, design spec, design RTL implementation, debug and get the coverage quality metrics
  • Work closely with product, architecture, verification, physical design teams and SOC teams for the IP deployment
  • Be part of growing core-technology team

Qualifications

  • BSc/MSc degree or equivalent, with at least 7 years of related experience in ASIC / VLSI design
  • Hands on Knowledge in Verilog and System Verilog on complex blocks
  • Hands on Knowledge in LINT, CDC and Power Estimation tools
  • Hands on knowledge on functional coverage definitions and code coverage understanding
  • The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people
  • A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team
  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge in NMVE, PCIE – advantage
