Job Description

  • Work intimately with Warehouse/Logistic Team to define, implement and drive project requirements, workflows and plans.
  • Manage timelines, resources, communications, quality, risks, whilst uncovering roadblocks, defining critical paths, identifying resource constraints, and any other issues that arise.
  • Finalize project scope, define initial assumptions, and secure project resources.
  • Prepare Budgetary application with ROI justification.
  • Work with Warehouse/Logistic Team & other technical team to identify the success criteria of the project.
  • Provide insight around potential risks and opportunities, resolve conflict, initiate resolution and deliver results.
  • Identify and document all project milestones and deliverables and keep project always plans up to date, including resource allocations, tracking hours, monitoring schedules, milestones, deliverables, updating percentage completion, etc.
  • Continuously monitor and measure project processes and activities to identify and communicate potential issues, risks, or problems in a timely fashion and provide corrective action options to drive to resolution
  • Lead cross-functional teams in design reviews, functional testing, and .installation. Includes resource & dependency alignment, coordination of activities, and transparent communication of project status and risk.
  • Escalate schedule delays due to issues and risks.
  • Track and manage change requests to scope and obtain approval if necessary.
  • Lead and develop all activities around project kickoffs, scope definition, design reviews, acceptance testing, and weekly progress reports.
  • Create formal project communication plans key project metrics and dashboards for project status communication.
  • Conduct project evaluations, post-mortems, and drive process change to incorporate learning.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering / Logistics Engineering / Automation & Mechatronics Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum 8 years’ professional experience, in Logistics Automation, Logistics Solutions, Industrial Engineering and/or in Logistics Operations management in warehouse/transport preferably in an international logistics service environment

Skills

  • Work experience in manufacturing environment, especially electronic industry, know-how in Warehousing and Logistic process is a plus.
  • Management experience required with demonstrated success building, developing and leading a high performing team is a plus.

Preferred

  • Good knowledge of warehousing or logistics automation methods and techniques preferably.
  • Good understanding of warehousing/logistics solutions and business processes preferably.
  • Good understanding of pragmatic financial acumen to optimize both investment level and ROI.
  • Hands on Agile methodology for project delivery with minimum supervision.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills with a demonstrable ability to lead multiple teams/projects in parallel, presentation to senior executives.
  • Ability to communicate with different hierarchy levels   from diverse geographical area and culture.
  • Strategically focused, impact oriented, highly organized and adaptable.
  • Fluent in English and local Asian language, both spoken and written
