Job Description

The position involves researching and building proof of concepts and early prototypes systems in areas such as error control coding, compression, security and cryptography, data analytics, machine learning, software architectures, etc.

The job will involve collaborating with other R&D teams on developing new techniques for error control coding for emerging memories, on researching machine learning and artificial intelligence schemes on audio-video data, on researching cryptographic constructions for storage devices and systems. The job will also involve publication of results in academic conferences and journals, as well as invention disclosures and patents.

This is technical research position for a researcher with strong background in information theory - PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics - and industrial experience applying those skills to practical problems.
