Our Tire Bay Managers effectively manage, oversee, and supervise employees in the Tire Bay Department. This includes supervising Tire Bay Mechanics and Lead Tire Bay Techs.
Supervise staff and ensure productivity on shop floors while also enforcing company policies.
Communication with Shop Managers and Shop Foremen to ensure productivity and accurate information dissemination to all involved employees.
Employee training involving aspects of new hire orientation, safety training, and coordinating on the job training.
Quality Assurance: Sort through tires to allocate tires for selling, recapping, or discontinuing.
Process repair orders for units that are repaired.
Bill out tires to accounts payable in AS400 system.
Ensure inventory control on all tires that are in stock.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Three years of tire industry experience.
Basic inventory experience.
Good communication skills.
Ability to operate basic office equipment.
Proficient in computer operations.
Ability to lift in excess of 130 lbs.
