We are on a mission to be the easiest and most reliable way to arrange home services, connecting homeowners with qualified service professionals. We operate the market-leading brands in France (Travaux.com) and The Netherlands (Werkspot.nl), and the challenger in Italy (Instapro.it).

The operations teams (sales and customer service) for The Netherlands and Italy are run from our office in the city centre of Amsterdam. These teams consist of approximately 25 talented professionals, deeply passionate about providing exceptional service for our great digital marketplaces.

Travaux, Werkspot and Instapro are part of IAC / ANGI Home Services.

Job Description

As Customer Service Representative you are the first point of contact for our consumers and service professionals. You are the business card of the company.

Your main tasks are:

  • Telephone and answering email and inbound questions from service professionals and consumers
  • Collect and validating reviews and new signed up service professionals
  • Giving tips and advice to improve the use of Instapro
  • Quality control on content of posted service requests by consumers
  • Review and resolves customer issues related to e.g. contracts, profile set-up and more

In short, through delivering high quality customer service you provide a strong foundation to build a long-term customer relationship with our customers.

Qualifications

You have the skills to listen properly and ask the right questions and feature the following qualifications:

  • You like to take ownership
  • You are passionate about helping customers
  • You have at least 2 years (full time) relevant telephone service / sales experience
  • Commercial, friendly, professional and result-oriented are some characteristics that describe you best 
  • Your are fluent, both written and spoken, in English and Italian
  • It would be considered a plus if Dutch speaking and writing is part of your skills
  • You posses general computer skills (such as Word/Excel, Google Suite and use of CRM like e.g. Salesforce) and Internet skills
  • You are not afraid of a tough call

Special note related to COVID-19
We will be hiring mostly remotely. In-person interviews can be scheduled for candidates in the Amsterdam area, with the agreement of both parties. Until the government (RIVM) is no longer advising us to work from home, we will be working remotely. We will do our best to make the remote onboarding as smooth as possible and help you get up-to-speed.
