The Lead Linguist will be a central point of contact with the client reviewers and will coordinate the linguists team to meet the client’s quality expectations. 

List of tasks required to the Language Lead:

  • Product (UI and Doc) translation
  • Product (UI and Doc) review with LQA/DQF
  • Marketing Translation
  • Transcreation
  • Marketing review with LQA/DQF
  • Style Guide Creation
  • Style Guide Maintenance
  • Review and LQA/DQF
  • Glossary Maintenance
  • Glossary Prep (Filtering)
  • Internal Trainings (expected more at the beginning of engagement)
  • Glossary Translation
  • Internal Meetings with Stakeholders
  • LQS Implementation
  • Blog Uploading (tbd)
  • Test Review
  • Feedback Work/Calls - Language Specific
  • SEO Task (tbd)
  • Sync Call with PM (non-productive task to be kept to a minimum as required to keep production moving)
  • Internal Communications (non-productive task to be kept to a minimum as required to keep production moving)
  • Weekly call with Language Coordination and PMs
  • Weekly call with Japanese Language Leads involved in projects

Trial Test Required: Yes
Workload as dedicated LL: 16 hours (2 full days) for main LL, and 4 hours for back up (will be decided based on the trial result)

Rate: 2500 – 3000 JPY / hour (will be decided based on the trial result), Transportation fee will also be provided at actual cost) 
Contract period: 6 months (possibly extending up to 12 months)
 

資格

Other requirement:

  1. Training Session will be provided, onsite or remote (TBD)
  2. Weekly onsite meetings @ ServiceNow office in Tokyo
  3. Actual translation/transcreation/Review work can be done remotely but in a co-operative environment with the ServiceNow local team (Trello, Slack, SFB sessions, Skype, Zoom or other conferencing technology). 
  4. Good communication skill with client and it is better to have customer facing experience.
