Your Strategic FOCUS AREAS

Sales

  • Budgets / targets – Contribute to meeting and exceeding sales
  • Customer service – Assist with POS
  • Training – specialise in Health, Foods and Body Care departments through focused supplier training and prescribed booklist completion  

Customer Experience

  • Store atmosphere – ensure a professional environment  
  • Store look and feel – adherence to store disciplines, marketing and visual merchandising guidelines, knowledge of store layout

Store Disciplines and Productivity

  • Merchandising - accurate ticketing and effective merchandising as per support office guidelines

Risk Management

  • Stock - stock counts and product expiry checks

Training and Mentoring

  • Continuous improvement – share knowledge, expertise and passion within the Wellness community

People Management

  • Stock - stock counts and product expiry checks
  • Culture – ensure a performance development culture
  • Teamwork – ensure store effectiveness through team effectiveness

Qualifications

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant diploma / short course qualification – health and wellness modality
  • 4+ Years retail sales with a minimum of 1 year in the role of Wellness assistant
  • Completion of all applicable Wellness Training Academy foundation and specialist modules 
  • Completion of required Wellness booklist
  • 80% achievement for the Wellness competency assessment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fully computer literate   
  • Genuine interest in the Wellness brand and products
  • Understanding of the Wellness customer and brand
  • Ability and willingness to work weekends and extended retail hours
