We are looking for a Junior Payroll Administrator to join our Finance team in Parow, Cape Town.

The successful incumbent should be highly organised and deadline-driven and able to maintain high levels of confidentiality. You should have strong numerical skills, be highly personable and easily communicate with different levels of the organisation.

Main Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Processing and administering all employee data on VIP
• Administering and maintaining leave, including maternity leave and UIF forms
• Collating payroll related reports and spreadsheets
• Maintaining and administering employee benefits
• Maintaining accurate employee records and filing and ensuring all employee records and files are up to date
• Liaising with management and employees to resolve payroll related queries
• Completing employee termination documents, including provident withdrawals, UI19’s and certificate of service
• Administering and maintaining time and attendance system, including loading new team members and removing terminated team members, compiling shift rosters and weekly timesheets.
• Various other duties as and when reasonably required

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• 2 Years of payroll experience
• VIP Premier experience essential
• Basic understanding of time and attendance systems – Eco time beneficial
• Computer literate, with proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Excel
• Methodical, neat and tidy work habits with close attention to detail
