Job Description

Wellness Solutions Geriatrics is seeking a Proposal Specialist to analyze, summarize and deliver proposals for new business opportunities.  This is a temporary position (10 hours per week) with the possibility to become long-term.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Identify viable prospects that are extensions of WSG’s current business model.
  • Analyze solicitation documents such as Federal and State RFPs, RFQ’s, and other types of requests for proposals.
  • Develop/convert submission requirements into proposal outlines.
  • Establish and coordinate proposal timelines.
  • Develop resumes and corporate experience documents.
  • Develop graphics to show company’s capabilities - tables, charts, etc.
  • Write responses to RFP requirements with input from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Edit and review all proposal content in the proposal development process.
  • Coordinate, track, properly file, and account for all incoming/outgoing information.
  • Ensure that all proposal documents and graphics remain in compliance with solicitation requirements.
  • The ability to seek out potential business partners for Joint Ventures, if necessary.
  • Manage the final production of proposals both electronically and hard-copy submissions.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by company officers.





Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • Understanding of, and experience with, the Federal and State procurement processes and regulations
  • Excellent organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work to meet deadlines (extra hours at times)
  • Ability to work well independently
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to create original content using interview and research techniques
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe
