Wellness Solutions has an opening for a Psychologist (PhD, EdD or PsyD)  to provide psychotherapy and behavioral management services in Long-Term Care facilities in & around the Buford, GA area. Needs to be able to bill Medicare and have HSP designation.

Responsibilities

• Psychotherapy as a non-pharmacological means of alleviating psychiatric symptoms and/or managing behavioral disturbances
• Identify and implement appropriate interventions given a patient’s problem(s) of focus, functional status, facility/staff abilities and the level of involvement of the patient’s family
• Overall treatment goals
• Education on use of behavioral Interventions with a family or staff member
• Assessment of the progress made toward the goals associated with the symptoms targeted at specific visit
• Conduct a patient/staff/family interview to gain a thorough assessment
• Knowledge of psychiatric illness and related psychiatric behaviors
• Understanding of diagnostic criteria for delirium, dementia, adjustment disorders, mood
• disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders and disorders due to a general medical condition
• Documentation using EHR (gEHRiMed)
• Caseload Management

Compensation

• Our provider compensation system is incentive based and rewards providers who practice as guided by CMS
• Compensation rate is based on location of services provided and level of experience
• Employees are paid during training
