Job Description

As a Sales Operations Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting and delivering initiatives that enable sales effectiveness and drive business outcomes across the organization. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Sales L&D, Market Solutions, product teams and other key stakeholders to execute go-to-market activities, improve business processes, and support the ongoing governance and evolution of sales platforms and workflows. Acting as an advocate for sales stakeholders, you’ll analyze feedback and enhancement opportunities, translate business needs into clear requirements, and help prioritize work through established scoring and decision-making processes. You’ll also coordinate implementation and transition support, training, communications, and operational activities across multiple initiatives - including CRM and producer-facing platforms, enterprise systems, and related integrations - to keep teams aligned and ensure the right work happens at the right time.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized and proactive problem solver who thrives in dynamic, cross-functional environments and enjoys bringing structure to complexity. You have strong project management, business analysis, and operational skills that enable you to build trust with stakeholders, identify root causes and enhancement opportunities, write clear business requirements, and facilitate discussions that drive prioritization, decisions, and action. You can manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, maintain momentum from discovery through implementation, and communicate effectively with both technical teams and business audiences. You bring a high degree of ownership and accountability, use sound judgment when coordinating sensitive or compliance-related work, and are comfortable holding teams aligned to commitments and outcomes. While prior experience in healthcare, insurance, CRM platforms, or sales operations is helpful, success in this role is rooted in transferable skills such as project execution, relationship building, process improvement, change management, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent, relevant work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience managing multiple small-to-medium complexity initiatives across varying methodologies, with accountability for scope, timeline, and outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of operations, go-to-market processes, and supporting business systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles and system development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Proven ability to analyze, design, and improve business processes using data-driven insights.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders at multiple levels to drive alignment and results.
  • Strong facilitation, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • High degree of ownership, initiative, and accountability; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Naturally curious, proactive, and innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to document business processes, controls, and decisions to support governance, auditability, and change management.

Preferred:

  • Prior health care experience.
  • Prior process improvement experience.
  • Professional certification: Project Management (CAPM), or Project Management Professional (PMP), or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
