Job Description

As a Marketing Strategy Specialist, you will support the development and execution of marketing strategies that help connect with key audiences, strengthen performance across channels, and advance business priorities in a competitive and highly regulated market. In this role, you’ll partner across marketing, communications, analytics, and business teams to translate customer insights, market information, and performance data into actionable recommendations and coordinated plans. You’ll contribute to integrated marketing efforts that support organizational goals, enhance the customer experience, and deliver measurable results. 

The ideal candidate is a collaborative and insight-driven marketer who can turn information into action. You bring experience supporting marketing strategy development, analyzing performance, and helping shape audience-focused recommendations that align with business goals. You’re comfortable working across teams, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to initiatives that span channels and touchpoints. You combine curiosity, organization, and strong communication skills to help move work forward, and you’re motivated by using data, collaboration, and strategic thinking to create meaningful impact for customers and the business. 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in brand, performance, or digital marketing.
  • Experience developing and executing marketing strategies or campaigns with measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to translate data and insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Working knowledge of marketing measurement and analytics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present recommendations clearly.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with AI-enabled tools (eg.,Copilot).
  • Experience using marketing technology platforms to execute and optimize campaigns.

Preferred:

  • Experience owning discrete marketing campaigns for segments, products, or initiatives.
  • Experience with integrated or omnichannel marketing efforts.
  • Exposure to customer segmentation, personas, or journey mapping.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as health insurance, financial services, or similar.
  • Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) or partner/channel strategies.

Additional Information

a. Analyze business and marketing data, market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and inform strategy.

b. Develop and own marketing strategies for assigned initiatives, translating insights into clear plans that drive

c. Create and maintain strategic artifacts (e.g., assignment briefs, KPIs, and measurement plans) to guide execution and track performance.business outcomes.

d. Define value propositions, positioning, and target audiences for owned initiatives.

e. Lead cross-functional alignment with channel teams, creative, and analytics partners to ensure strategies are executed effectively and consistently.

f. Make data-informed recommendations to optimize performance and improve marketing effectiveness.

g. Own measurement approaches for assigned work; monitor results, identify performance drivers, and recommend adjustments.

h. Communicate strategy, performance insights, and recommendations to stakeholders and team members.

i. Contribute to broader marketing planning by sharing insights and learnings from owned initiatives.

j. Other duties as assigned.
