Under the direction of the Director of Project Development and Staff Competency, is responsible for the day-to-day operations, supervision and maintenance of a comprehensive infection prevention program for the companies of Home Health Foundation. Develops, implements, provides staff education and competency related to assigned projects. Assist the Director of Project Development and Staff Competency with initiatives assigned. Acts as educator to improve and enhance functional capabilities of all licensed and non-licensed personnel and volunteers by the provision of orientation, continuing education and in-service programs.


RN with minimum 2 years Visiting Nurse experience, experience in leadership position or teaching experience.

Experience with Infection Control.

Experience with current technology (ex – Video Taping, Microsoft Computer programs) required.

BSN required.

Licensed in Massachusetts and New Hampshire (or willing to obtain both) 

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel.

Effective, professional communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

Able to communicate appropriately to all levels of staff, nursing leadership and executive leadership.

Self-directed, creative, initiative to develop educational programs.

Previous teaching experience in formal/informal settings.

At least 1 year in a management role.

Master of Science degree in Nursing or in related field (e.g., MBA, MHA) (preferred). 3-5 years’ experience in education (preferred).

Certification as Nursing Professional Development Educator (e.g., certification by the National Nurse Staff Development Organization) (preferred).
