Assortment Manager at Weezy

About Weezy

Weezy is a well-funded pre-seed stage startup looking for its first team members to join the founders and adventure.

Weezy is building the UK’s first on-demand supermarket delivering groceries in 15 minutes through an app and website. Behind the scenes, Weezy is building a network of dark stores across London and beyond while leaning on a rider network to deliver customers’ orders.

The founders combine 8 years' executive level experience with leading European startups from series A through D (BlaBlaCar, Showpad and Drover), 6 years of top tier management consulting (McKinsey&Co) and world class education (Oxford University and KULeuven).

About the market

The UK grocery market totals £190bn annually with the highest online penetration across all Europe. However, most customers state being willing to pay more for faster delivery and there is currently no true on-demand player. At Weezy, we are filling that gap with the winning model of operating decentralised dark stores, as proven internationally. The estimated size of the market for an on-demand, city based UK grocery delivery service is ~£5bn today and growing.
