We are seeking a gifted node API developer who would like to bring their skills to solve modern technical challenges.

This is a placement with our end client and is a full-time opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

• Design, implement, test, and maintain API’s and services that power our clients applicatiojns

• Experience working with public APIs (AWS, Netsuite etc)

• Experience working with distributed systems

• Familiarity using git

•  Experience in a CI and agile environment

• 3+ years experience with node.js

• 2+ years experience with RESTful api design and implementation

• 1 or more years of experience in a DevOps environment

• 1+ years experience with relational databases, such as Postgres or MySQL

• Collaborate with Project Managers, Software Engineers, SME on projects with clear business impact and high public visibility 

• Engage in team work and collaboration 

• Actively participate in design discussions and code reviews 

• Eager to learn new things and share ideas with peers

• Be comfortable with Agile software development; participate in Scrums, iterations, planning, estimating and retrospectives

• Design simple, elegant and extensible architecture 

• Validate and tests code deliverables 

• Debug and troubleshoots issues efficiently 

• Advocate for and follower best practices
