Job Description

  • Maintain, Improve, and Scale our existing MIT-kerberos based authentication platform
  • Manage and automate deployment of our site-to-site VPN topologies (IPSec)
  • Propose and implement alternative authentication and audit controls and technologies as appropriate

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of demonstrated excellence in a production environment
  • 4+ years Linux administration or Linux systems development
  • 2+ years experience administering Kerberos implementations (MIT or Heimdall)
  • Evaluating and communicating risk in a fact based manner
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Fluency with Kerberos based SSO solutions (e.g. SPNEGO, ssh)
  • Understanding of IPSec site-to-site VPN deployments
  • Strong bias toward action, while flexible and resourceful (nice to have)
  • Understanding of Apache httpd and tomcat based web services a plus (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of Multi-Realm federation to Active Directory implementations (nice to have)
  • Understanding of SAML and Active Directory Federation Services (nice to have)
