Job Description

The Technical Sourcer plays an essential role in tracking industry events, technology trends, and changes within the employment landscape, which may impact our existing best practices and/or short- and long-term senior talent generation strategies.

As part of this effort, the Technical Sourcer will contribute to special projects in areas such as market mapping, market intelligence, talent community relationship building, prospect attraction, and organization branding. This individual will act as a subject matter expert in all currently available prospecting techniques and tools used for information retrieval and data extraction, web-scraping, continuous process improvement, process automation, and customer relationship management.

PAY: $11 - 13 dollars an hour

HOURS: Part-TIme: (20 hours per week flexible)

What you'll be doing (Responsibilities):
• Source, identify, and build a candidate pipeline of top talent for current and future open positions through direct sourcing, social media; i.e. LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Facebook, Dice, ZipRecruiters, Indeed, Twitter, Job boards, Bullhorn, & referrals
• Develop talent communities to continually engage candidates
• Respond to candidate and employment agency inquiries
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives
• Performs other duties or special projects as assigned
• Design and assist lead recruiter / sourcer in overall recruiting strategy
• Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
• Create and Organize candidates using tools such as Bullhorn, Dice, LinkedIn, Google apps, and more
• Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
• Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc.
• Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc.
• Screen candidates resumes and job applications
• Schedule interviews
• Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
• Design and Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
• Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
• Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage several projects at any one time in a fast paced,        growth environment
• User of Social Media
• Understand Boolean search strings with the goal of performing data mining to find (passive and active) candidates, and build candidate flow
• Proven ability to reprioritize or juggle workload based upon changing demands
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Cold calling: comfortable picking up a phone and calling candidates
• Must demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and proactive approach
• Attention to detail
• Positive attitude and a sense of humor
• Endless tenacity and persistence
• Strong PC skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook;
• Proficiency with CRM or Applicant Tracking Systems is a plus
