Job Description

1- Provide instruction to IO and Cyber Ops students in classroom and student training mission simulator environments.


2- Develop, modify, and update IO and Cyber Ops instructional materials for both in-residence courseware, MTT, and non-resident on-line ADL courseware.


3- Develop evaluation and testing scenarios/devices.


4- Develop practical application student training missions, mission scenarios, and mission evaluation tests or demonstrations.  This capability will serve to challenge and train AF IP related network defenders.


5- Explore and provide subject matter expertise on emerging/converging IP technologies for integration into the IO and Cyber Ops curricula.


6- Provide training to IO and Cyber Ops students on, but not limited to: information systems security, intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, IP addressing, firewall theory, routing theory, systems architecture/construction/topology, circuit switching, packet switching, network protocols, topologies, encryption, operating systems, virtual environments, cloud-computing, programming, scripting, incident handling, penetration testing, packet analysis, reverse engineering and malware analysis.

7- Requires extensive experience in the management and understanding of malicious programs capable of harassing advanced computers and networks and be able to defend against those malicious attacks. Including but not limited to programs such as NetCat, Metasploit, Backtrack, Kali Linux, Cain & Able, as well as other programs, procedures or actions that serve to deny, degrade, disrupt, destroy, or deceive US Government automated systems.

8-  Extensive experience in the use of Denial of Service (DoS) attacks (e.g. SYN flood, ICMP and ping floods), DNS and ARP cache poisoning, as well as other Gray Hat/Black Hat utilized attack methodologies. 9- Knowledge of and experience with multiple IP related forensics tools (e.g. EnCase and Forensics Tool Kit (FTK)). 

10- Audit feedback from internal and external sources with military and Government staff to ensure currency, consistency, and quality of course material.

Qualifications

1- Associate's degree in IP Networking


2-   3 years of experience in an IP networking security.  


3- Req to be a graduate of an Air Force or Joint Cyber Operations Formal Training course and/or  be able to pass applicable courses taught by the IO and Cyber FTU. 


4- Requires a commercial Cyber certification commensurate with DoDI 8570.1m – IAT Level II.


5- Fully Instructor Qualified (FIQ)


6- Shall be familiar with military command and control structures


7- Possess a valid civilian driver's license


8- Be able to hold a valid military driver's license.

Additional Information

Position is fulltime, contingent on contract award

 

Schedule Requirements

This   position shall require you be available during core/normal working hours from   8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The current schedule is 8:00 AM  to 5:00 PM but is subject to change  due to taskings influx and need. Central Standard Time (CST) During normal duty   hours, and available during bid/proposal surge support with timely   responsiveness.


Security Clearance Level

 

All personnel shall possess or be eligible for, and retain a Top Secret, Special Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance.  Planner will abide by SCI Facility Guidelines, maintain a clearance, and physically safeguard all data and equipment

Physical Requirements:

This position primarily consists of working indoors in an office environment. In the course of the employees duties he/she may travel to perform essential job duties. Essential functions: The employee must have the capability to: sit, walk, or stand for extended periods, talk and hear with the ability to communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself, exchange information, to use the hands and fingers to operate, activate, use, prepare, inspect, place, or position, and see to detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, and assess. Lift up to 15lbs.


Travel: 

Travel and relocation to various military installations in the CONUS and OCONUS is

possible.   Additionally, contractor on-site personnel may be required to travel to worldwide locations. 

These trips may be necessary to provide IO/Cyber training, conference attendance, real

world or exercise planning and participation, and other travel as required supporting Cyber Ops

training and training development.

 


Non-Disclosure Agreement: This policy is stated in the Employee Handbook, which will be supplied   during the first month of employment. All employees of Webhead will be   required to sign and adhere to this agreement.
