Job Description: We are seeking a creative and experienced Social Content Specialist with Video Editing Skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple social media platforms, creating engaging content, and driving user interaction through impactful video editing. This role requires someone who is not only familiar with social media trends but also possesses a keen eye for storytelling through video content. Experience in retail is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities:

  • Must have familiarity with creating a strategy to create/edit impactful videos. Execute on the strategy and manage the executions on social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant platforms.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Create compelling and visually appealing video content, tailored to each platform's audience and specifications.
  • Edit and produce high-quality videos that captivate and resonate with our target audience, with a focus on driving interaction and conversion on advertisements.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to continuously optimize content performance.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing objectives and campaigns.
  • Analyze and report on key social media metrics and insights to measure the success of campaigns and inform future strategies.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of proven experience in social media management and video editing.
  • Must have a portfolio when you apply that highlights your social video editing skills.
  • Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their respective audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with a knack for generating innovative ideas and thought leadership.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Scrappy attitude with a willingness to roll up sleeves and get things done.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with the retail industry.
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles and tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Canva.
