Founded in 2001, Agile Networks (Agilenet.works) has been servicing Creative Design firms (Architects, Interior Designers, Advertising) for over 17 years in NYC.  

Were not a firm that focuses on break fix solutions, in fact in fact perhaps less than 5% of our time is based on break fix type IT requests.

Most of the time we're preparing for projects researching new technology and testing implementations. It's a great job for someone who enjoys a varied work environment. Sometimes rolling out a whole bunch of desktops, and then were assisting some web designer because he can't get the page to show correctly. Mostly were consuming tech as a matter of course because it's good for the firm but it's good for technicians as well.

 

 

We focus on High Touch - Low Drama IT services and it really seems to keep our clients happy.

We've added 6 new firms since December - which is not usual for us, but we're looking for someone to hit the ground running who needs little handholding.

Job Description

  • Desktop and laptop support (Window 7, Windows 10, OS X)
  • Windows Server support (2008 / 2012 / 2016)
  • General networking (firewalls, routers, wifi, TCP/IP)
  • General PC hardware / software troubleshooting
  • Email (Exchange, Gmail)
  • Anti-virus / malware solutions
  • VPN
  • Data backup solutions (on-premise and cloud-hosted)
  • Smart phones (iPhone, Android)
  • MS Office
  • Printing / Plotting support
  • Cloud technology (O365, AWS, Azure)

Education

  •  Bachelor Degree (preferred - not required)
  • MCSE Certification (preferred not required)
  • At least three years of IT Support related experience in PC/Windows environments (a strong 2 is fine - but not a weak 5)
