In Data & AI, we help clients turn ambition into measurable impact, at scale, with a strong focus on trusted and responsible AI.
From Luxembourg, we partner with financial institutions and European organisations to deliver pragmatic AI initiatives in complex, regulated contexts.
Job Description
As a Senior Consultant – AI, you’ll help clients move from ideas to outcomes: identifying the right AI use cases, shaping them into delivery-ready initiatives, and supporting implementation alongside business and tech teams.
- Lead AI use case discovery through problem framing, value case development, feasibility assessment, and KPI definition
- Translate business needs into AI-ready requirements and guide delivery with strong technical literacy
- Embed trusted and responsible AI practices across governance, data quality, security, compliance, and explainability
As a Senior Consultant (3-5 years’ experience):
- Lead discovery workshop with business and technical stakeholders to identify and prioritise AI opportunities
- Define AI use cases, including problem statements, value cases, success metrics, feasibility, and data readiness
- Translate business needs into AI-ready functional and non-functional requirements, covering data, workflows, integrations, and human-in-the-loop considerations
- Support the delivery of MVPs/pilots and align business intent, model behaviour and expected outcomes
- Contribute to governance for responsible AI (security, compliance, explainability, risks)
- Produce executive-ready outputs (use case cards, decision notes, roadmaps)
- Contribute to the development of internal assets, methodologies, and reusable accelerators
Qualifications
- You hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering, computer science, business administration, or a related field
- You have 3–5 years of experience in project management and/or business analysis, ideally gained within financial services, consulting, or other large and complex organisations, with exposure to process automation and AI-enabled solutions
- You have a strong understanding of AI concepts and technologies, including machine learning, advanced analytics, Generative AI, and agentic AI, with the ability to collaborate effectively with data science and engineering teams
- You demonstrate a structured delivery mindset, with experience working in agile and/or plan-driven environments, and the ability to produce clear, high-quality client deliverables
- You are able to operate confidently across both business and technical dimensions of AI solutions, with familiarity with platforms such as Azure AI, Power Platform, Copilot, Microsoft 365, or equivalent ecosystems
- You have proven experience in defining AI use cases and supporting adoption and upskilling initiatives through stakeholder alignment, change management, and value tracking
- You hold relevant certifications, which are a plus, particularly in project management, business analysis, and/or agile methodologies
- You have previous experience in a consulting or business advisory environment, which would be a strong advantage
- You are fluent in English; French would be a strong asset
Why Wavestone
You’ll join a collaborative Data & AI team and work on end-to-end engagements—from strategy and use case design to delivery support—on meaningful AI programmes in regulated environments. This is a client-facing role at the intersection of business, data and technology (not a pure data science/engineering position).
- High-impact client work with financial institutions and European organisations
- A strong collective: communities of practice, knowledge sharing and reusable assets
- Continuous learning (training, certifications, mentoring) and clear career development
- Room to contribute, propose approaches, build accelerators, and shape our local offer
- Hybrid working model
