Job Description

Wavestone UK are seeking to hire an Insurance – CIO Advisory industry leader.

Becoming part of the UK team will present new opportunities for you to make a positive impact as we embark on securing major international accounts to support our growth in international markets. This will mean working with our FTSE100 clients on a wide range of advisory projects, bringing deep business and technology expertise to help address opportunities and challenges across their organisations.
 

Your role as a Senior Manager or Associate Partner – CIO Advisory [Insurance] means being a key player in the development of the UK practice in terms of:

  • Deep Industry Expertise and Experience: Proven track record in transformation Insurance organisations through leveraging Technology to drive operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
     
  • Business Development: Play a key sales role, driving complex business proposals and contributing significantly to account development. Drive challenging deal wins and sales growth by expanding networks and mobilizing skilled stakeholders. Demonstrate cutting-edge expertise on a topic, being able to make a difference when selling, enrich value proposition, anticipate trends and clients’ needs.
     
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the technology and insurance sector. 

Qualifications

To be considered for this role:

  • Solid foundations in consulting skills with minimum 10-15 years’ experience in external client-facing consulting or equivalent role (IT, management, or technology advisory focused) 
  • Proven track record of selling consulting services (account planning, pitches, proposals, value proposition development)
  • Solid network of contacts within the technology and insurance industry
  • Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization, experience in managing and leading teams, developing and coaching junior members of staff
  • Proven background leading strategic Transformation Programmes and strong acumen enhancing advisory credibility

Travel and Location

  • Employees are not required to work in a Wavestone office on a full-time basis but are required to commute to the office, when necessary, which is in the heart of the city of London.
