Job Description

  • Installation and service of underground sprinkler systems and outdoor lighting systems. 
  • This position requires lots of physical work including digging with a shovel, kneeling and bending over.
  • Working autonomously, driving a company vehicle (service van) and communicating with dispatcher and clients

Qualifications

  • Able to arrive at our Ville-Saint-Laurent location for 6h30
  • Internal training is offered for interested candidates to take on more responsibility and become autonomous workers in the field.
  • Candidates must be available 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day OR 3 week days and 2 weekend days.
  • Personal tool box (Click here for list of required items). Note that applicants without their own tools may rent a complete set from the company at the cost of $25/week 
  • Knowledge test - After in-field training new hires will be required to complete a brief course and knowledge test. A passing grade is 80%
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. Electrical or plumbing experience is an asset.
  • Drivers license in good standing
  • Bilingualism

Additional Information

All our available positions require outdoor work, rain or shine. Given the seasonal nature of our industry, the length of a workday will vary across the months. Start times are 6h30 - 7h00 and end times range from 17h00 - 20h00.

This is a seasonal position which will allow you to pursue all your favorite winter activities during the off-season. During the shut down period all staff is made eligible to receive Employment Insurance at their discretion. All employees who are successful throughout the summer can expect to have a job waiting for them the following year.
