Job Description

The role you’ll play

We are looking for an Operator to process recycling collected from various sources and preparing the material for transport.

This role requires somebody that is reliable and can work in a team. You must be able to work in a fast paced production type environment while maintaining safe and accurate work methods. We have a strong focus on safety and provide the training and support to ensure that you are well equipped to carry out the requirements of the role.

Part of this role will be the operation of some mobile plant therefore a wheels endorsement or the ability to gain one along with some experience driving forklifts and loaders would be viewed favourably.   

Qualifications

What you’ll need

We're looking for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn. While it would be great if you have all of the following skills and experience, they are not essential:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A current OSH Forklift Certificate, F Endorsement, or relevant forklift operating experience (highly desirable).
  • A current First Aid Certificate or First Aid knowledge, along with a strong commitment to health and safety.
  • Physically fit, with the ability to safely lift 20–30kg throughout the shift.
  • Flexible with working days and hours as required.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to travel to work using your own transport.
  • Experience working in plastics manufacturing or material compounding would be an advantage.
