Ready to step into a Site Manager role with real scale and impact?

We have an outstanding opportunity for a high-performing Site Manager to join the team at Redvale Landfill and Energy Park. Located in Dairy Flat, Redvale is a Class 1 facility handling around 50% of Auckland’s non-recyclable waste and is recognised for its innovative design, operational standards, and environmental performance.

As Site Manager, you’ll lead day-to-day site operations across disposal, landfill cover, and wider site maintenance activities. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for coordinating multiple crews, managing site performance, and ensuring safe, efficient delivery of works across a large and complex operational environment.

You’ll be part of the Site Leadership Team, with strong support from on-site environmental, compliance, finance, and heavy workshop teams — allowing you to stay focused on leading people and delivering outcomes on the ground.

We’re looking for a practical, people-focused leader with a strong track record in civil or commercial construction environments. Experience across earthworks, site delivery, planning, and leading multiple teams will set you up well in this role.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong leadership presence with high levels of honesty and integrity
• Proven experience managing mid-sized crews in a site-based environment
• Solid understanding of HSE and a track record of improving safety culture
• Experience driving team performance and accountability
• Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving capability
• Financial awareness, including budget tracking and cost control
• Experience managing contractors and working within environmental controls
