Looking for a hands-on role where you’re part of a tight-knit crew and make a real difference every day? We’re on the hunt for a Weighbridge Assistant & Spotter to join our small, friendly team at the Papakura Transfer Station.

What you’ll be doing
This is no boring desk job! You’ll be out and about on-site, keeping things moving safely and smoothly. One moment you’ll be helping customers over the weighbridge, the next you’ll be spotting vehicles and making sure everyone’s doing things by the book. You’ll be our eyes and ears on the ground, helping keep people safe and our operations humming.

Job Description
Key responsibilities of the position will include:
- Weighbridge assistance and customer service.
- Direct traffic and provide general information to customers
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word & Excel)
- Undertake general light labouring duties as required
- Knowledge and understanding of workplace Health and Safety practices.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role:
- Previous weighbridge experience would be an advantage
- Strong clear communication skills, previous experience with public interfacing & sales transactions
- Accurate data inputting
- Valid NZ driving license Class 1 or Class 2.
- Strong work ethics and exceptional time management skills.
