Job Description

We’re looking for an energetic and passionate person to join us as UK Promotions Manager. Your role will be to deliver exciting, effective promotional campaigns for our artists in the UK. Through a combination of your own excellent contacts and expertise in UK media and working with out of house promo teams, you will effectively deliver campaigns across all media and promotional outlets including press, radio, TV, DJs, cultural institutions, creators and beyond.

The ideal candidate will have a huge passion and understanding of our artists alongside wider music and arts culture in the UK. They will be energetic and driven, with outstanding communication skills and the ability to talk about our artists with passion and conviction. We’re looking for someone with extensive existing contacts in UK media, at least a 3-years experience in the industry and a great knowledge of what makes a difference in promoting music in 2023. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering innovative and effective promotional campaigns in the UK.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and contacts with key media outlets, journalists, writers, presenters and creators from across the promotions spectrum.
  • Selecting, briefing and managing out of house promotional teams as required by our campaigns. 
  • Writing and collating regular reports on activity for wider team, Artists and managers.
  • Representing the UK territory internally and for Artists and Managers.
  • Programming events and listening parties.
  • Representing the label to UK media.

Qualifications

Skills/Experience

  • Energy and enthusiasm.
  • Able to balance multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships and work as part of a team.
  • An excellent understanding of Warp artists and the UK promotions landscape.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 3 years experience in a related role and an extensive existing contact book.
