THE ROLE:

* Reporting to the CTO

* Focus on team Execution role (not a hands-on technical role)

* Ensure we meet our Sprint deadlines

* Implement progress / performance metrics 

* Track and present team progress to CTO

* Motivate team members 

* Manage frontend and backend teams (able to manage all engineering)

* Interviewing and recruiting engineers

* Establish onboarding process for engineers 

* Rebuilding existing apps 

* Building new apps from scratch

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:

* Successfully led engineering teams of 25+ 

* Consistently delivers code on-time 

* Successful at meeting Sprint deadlines (Agile environment)

* Can spot breakdowns in the team and fix them

* Can measure team success (implement team metrics)

* Process driven (but not to a fault)

* Knows how to motivate teams

* Highly desired: Online advertising or eCommerce domain experience

* Excellent people skills

* Startup experience
