Job Description

Join our Pharmacy Technician Trainee program and embark on an exciting career journey in the pharmaceutical industry! This role offers an opportunity to become a Registered or Certified Pharmacy Technician, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining medication inventory, supporting facility operations, and ensuring the accurate fulfillment of prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Pharmacy Technician-in-Training license required; candidates who do not yet have a license must be willing to apply. The license will be obtained through the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Comprehensive Training: Participate in a training program that prepares you to excel and become a Registered or Certified Pharmacy Technician.

Compensation details:

  • Pay starts at $18.00/hr

Work Schedule:

  • 1st shift: candidates must be available to work between the hours of 6am to 4pm.
  • 2nd shift: candidates must be available to work between the hours of 4pm to 2am

Full-Time Associates: Work 4 days a week with 10-hour shifts. Must be available throughout the week. The schedule will be determined based on production needs.

What you will do:

  • Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
  • Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and ensuring accurate medication intake.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to aseptic techniques.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for inventory management and reporting as needed.
  • Work towards obtaining Pharmacy Technician Certification and License while gaining hands-on experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Moves, lifts, carries, and places merchandise and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Stands for long periods of time.
  • Grasps, turns, and manipulates objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
