Job Description
This role requires a current State of Arkansas Electrical Journeyman license and a Valid US Driver's License.
- Performs routine preventive maintenance to ensure the safety, proper functionality, and aesthetics of facilities equipment or fixtures by following established preventive maintenance schedules and guidelines inspecting cleaning and repairing facilities equipment or fixtures observing and documenting signs of wear and tear gathering capital expense information recommending repair needs to eliminate ongoing and future repairs determining replacement needs and documenting preventive maintenance activities.
- Performs major and minor repairs on facilities equipment or fixtures and oversees work of junior-level associates by determining scopes of work for projects, acting as a job foreman on assigned work sites, utilizing blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary. Utilizing hand tools, power tools, hoists, and other equipment, providing prompt response to emergency calls, documenting repair activities, evaluating technicians' skill sets, providing onsite training sessions, performing onsite repairs for hands-on learning, and ensuring completed work meets or exceeds quality, safety, and code requirements.
- Ensures financial sustainability and manages work orders maintenance schedules and contractors by completing and providing required written and electronic information for example expense vouchers weekly summaries work orders maintenance logs conducting price comparison of parts and travel related costs ordering parts and replacement equipment and tracking orders recording purchases and usage managing parts inventory reviews journals and invoices compiling and reporting budget information submitting warranty claims complying with Occupational Safety and Health Administration OSHA and Environmental Protection Agency EPA regulations and guidelines ensuring quality work is completed that complies with federal state and local regulations developing relationships with local parts suppliers and contractors ensuring contractors follow Walmart quality standards safety requirements and meet contract requirements identifying and reporting deficiencies unloading and storing equipment and transporting equipment between facilities.
Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifying and communicating goals and objectives, building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results, identifying and addressing improvement opportunities,s and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training mentoring assigning duties providing recognition and fosters a culture of belonging Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission values and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices

Qualifications
- Vocational or Technical certification AND 7 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, OR related trade
- OR 9 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.
- Valid US Driver's License.
- Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- 2 years’ experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
