Walker Methodist Highview Hills is recruiting for a Life Enrichment Assistant to collaborate with the Director of Life Enrichment and Life Enrichment Assistants to provide activities designed to meet resident social and recreation needs through engagement in activities.  May assist with driving van and outing escort.  Individual and group program participation will focus on our Memory Care residents.

Part-time, 9:30 am to 1:30 pm including one weekend per month and holiday rotation

• Strong talent in playing piano or keyboard and comfort in leading musical activities
• Passion to work with seniors and help them experience life to the fullest
  
• Heightened awareness of dementia and the aging process
  
• Engaging, enthusiastic, willing to learn, and overflowing with creativity to share in planning new activities
• One year experience in an assisted living, independent or long-term care environment preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Minnesota driver's license with good driving record
• Ability to live the Walker Methodist's Customer Service Principles
