Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Ability to understand engineering drawings and diagrams, read blueprints, and/or other printed instructions at shop floor

  • Familiar to different types of pneumatic, oil pulse, battery operated tools and techniques of fitments

  • Reading Comprehension: Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents (WIS/MIS).

  • Operation and Control – Assembly and fitments of different parts as per work instruction sheet / blue prints etc. with safety standards. Achieve production target on weekly and monthly

  • Report and co-ordinate for material availability, machine breakdown

  • Ensure assembly product is met the quality standard and report in case of any deviation and close the quality issues with problem solving technique, ensure tool calibration frequency

  • Positive, willingness to learn and participate in a changing environment responsibility to reach a common goal of productivity

  • Handling of EOT cranes. 

  • Identifying the tools, tackles, jigs & fixtures to carry out the assembly

  • Properly maintain build traceability, project documentation records and tag all parts per engineering documents.

  • Identify & resolve problems or hazardous conditions that occur during assembly and test.

  • Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety and environmental regulations.

  • Responsible for ensuring work area is maintained hazard free and tidy in accordance with 5S principles

  • Responsible for writing Manufacturing Work Instruction, Safety Risk Assessments for jobs as and when required

  • Responsible for maintaining accurate traceability records of assemblies

  • Kaizen promotions and participate in CFT

 

Role Summary/Purpose:

The candidate should be from Mechanical/Electrical Engineering background or having 1 year of experience working in manufacturing industry (Automobile, Locomotive, Heavy Engineering)

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, with 1 Year of experience

  • Flexible to work in shifts

  • Willing to work hands-on in the manufacturing assembly lines
