Who Will You Be Working With?
In this role, you will partner closely with Global Commodity Leaders (GCLs), Commodity Managers, Engineering, Supplier Quality, Operations, and Suppliers to support sourcing initiatives across a range of Direct Material commodities.
How Will You Make a Difference?
You will help deliver sourcing outcomes by supporting RFQ execution, supplier engagement, commercial analysis, savings tracking, sourcing governance, and performance reporting.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Support Global Commodity Leaders in executing sourcing strategies and sourcing initiatives.
- Manage end-to-end RFQ/RFP activities including supplier communication, quote collection, bid analysis, and commercial evaluations.
- Support supplier engagement, sourcing events, and negotiation preparedness.
- Perform spend analysis, quote benchmarking, cost comparison, and savings validation.
- Support inflation mitigation activities through commercial reviews and price analysis.
- Coordinate PPAP tracking, sourcing governance reviews, and project milestones.
- Develop sourcing dashboards, KPI scorecards, savings reports, and business metrics.
- Analyze supplier performance data and provide insights to commodity leadership.
- Maintain sourcing documentation, trackers, and reporting tools.
- Drive process improvement and reporting automation opportunities.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in Direct Sourcing or Commodity Management.
- Experience supporting mechanical commodities in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience executing RFQs, supplier engagement activities, and commercial evaluations.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Advanced Excel skills; Power BI preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting global sourcing organizations.
- Exposure to supplier negotiations and strategic sourcing processes.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
