Reports To: Shipping & Inventory Supervisor
FLSA Status: Full time Non-Exempt
Summary:
- Candidate will prepare materials prior to Powder Coating.
- Starting hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour
- Work hours for this role are 7AM to 3 PM, 30 minute paid lunch
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must report to work at scheduled time every day
- Be in your work area and prepared to begin work at the start of your shift
- Must maintain housekeeping in your work area and throughout the building.
- Be sure all tools and equipment are returned at the end of your shift to maintain a clean and safe working environment for all.
- Exhibit safe work habits adhering to all PPE and OSHA requirements for assigned area
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
- High School graduate, or general education degree preferred
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Ability to follow written work instructions/procedures
- Good communication skills throughout all levels of the organization.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have ability to utilize Manufacturing System to scan timecard and labor
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to learn operation of hoist for product weighing more than 40 lbs.
- Ability to work with other employees to accomplish production requirements as assigned.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain a clean work environment
- Ability to work overtime as required

- Employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
- Employee is regularly required to stand, lift, stoop, and walk for 5 hours at a time, without breaks.
- Employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds.
- Employee must have the ability to work with their hands.
- Employee is regularly required to walk for up to 8 hours a day.
- Exhibit safe work habits adhering to all PPE and OSHA requirements for assigned area
- Employee is required to be on site during scheduled shift to perform daily duties and responsibilities.
- Must be able to load and unload parts washer.
- Must be able to mask parts when required prior to painting
- Must be able to hang parts on rack for painting and unload and sort when completed, placing parts on pallet.
- Must be able to push paint racks weighing up to 400lbs in and out of oven
- Requires daily face-to-face interaction with co-workers on production floor.

- The employee will normally work on the production floor and may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. May occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, and loud noise.
