Job Description
This position is for work in an onsite format, in Contagem, Minas Gerais.
Who will you be working with?
You will be part of the IT organization, partnering closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Operations, Finance, Information Security, Integration teams, and IT leadership. This role serves as a strategic advisor to business stakeholders, driving alignment between HR technology capabilities and organizational objectives while supporting a mature Workday environment across the enterprise.

As the HRIT Architect, you will define and govern the technical architecture, configuration strategy, and roadmap for Workday and related HR technology solutions. You will ensure the platform remains scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with enterprise standards while driving continuous improvement, supporting organizational transformation initiatives, and enabling business success through effective technology solutions.
What do we want to know about you?
Experience in:
- Supporting and governing enterprise HR technology platforms, preferably Workday.
- Leading Workday HCM, Payroll, and Benefits configuration in complex post-production environments.
- Managing Workday enhancements, releases, platform optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, workforce integrations, and organizational transformation projects.
- Partnering with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Operations, Finance, and IT stakeholders to design scalable business solutions.
- Establishing governance models, architectural standards, and platform roadmaps.
- Supporting complex workforce environments, including unionized populations, multiple legal entities, and manufacturing operations.
- Evaluating business requirements and translating them into sustainable Workday solutions.

- Advanced expertise in Workday HCM, Payroll, and Benefits.
- Deep knowledge of Workday business processes, security administration, reporting, calculated fields, and organizational structures.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and platform governance.
- Experience with Workday tenant management, release management, and configuration best practices.
- Knowledge of compliance, audit, labor, and regulatory requirements impacting HR systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Workday certifications in HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Security, or related areas are preferred.
What will your typical day look like?
- Define and govern the enterprise architecture strategy for Workday and related HR technology solutions.
- Review and approve solution designs, system configurations, enhancements, and architectural decisions.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Operations, and IT teams to identify technology and process improvement opportunities.
- Lead Workday optimization initiatives, including feature adoption, release management, and process standardization.
- Assess current business processes and recommend scalable, sustainable solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
- Provide architectural guidance for security models, reporting, organizational structures, and business processes.
- Support acquisition and integration activities, including employee onboarding, organizational design, security setup, and business process alignment.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions with stakeholders to define requirements and build consensus.
- Monitor system performance, identify operational risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Maintain governance documentation, support models, and change management practices.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on Workday best practices, platform capabilities, and long-term HR technology strategy.
- Contribute to roadmap planning and ensure HR technology solutions support future business growth and transformation initiatives.
