Sourcing Manager – Diversified Products

Role Summary/Purpose:

Role Summary

The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for supporting sourcing strategy, supplier management, cost productivity, localization, and global sourcing initiatives across the Diversified Products portfolio.  The role partners with Engineering, Quality, Materials, Operations, and Global Commodity teams to drive supplier performance, working capital improvements, cost competitiveness, and supply base resiliency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category sourcing strategies aligned with AOP and STRAP objectives
• Deliver year-over-year cost productivity (deflation) through localization, contract management and Supplier Cost Reduction Initiatives.
• Partner cross-functionally for Right First Time and On-Time execution of deflation projects.
• Drive Supplier Capacity, Cost and Delivery Management.
• Identify and mitigate supplier risks.
• Leverage India supply base to drive export growth from India supply base to support India for Globe initiative.
• Drive Localization and import substitution initiatives.
• Establish and manage long-term supplier agreements.
• Lead Strategic Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).

• Spend Management of ~USD 10M across 100+ suppliers and 1800+ parts
• Influence global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

• Proven financial, quantitative and data analysis skills
• Familiarity with Sourcing processes & Systems 
• Ability to articulate both simple and complex situations in a concise and logical manner
• Have a sound understanding of India supply base.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

·Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering / B. Tech from an accredited university or college.
• MBA (Supply Chain) / EMBA will be added advantage.
• CPSM or equivalent certification – preferred.

• 9 to 12 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing.
• Global Sourcing and Supplier development experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
