Job Description
The Executive Director, Product Management & Marketing (PMM) is responsible for defining, leading, and executing the multi-year product portfolio strategy for assigned product lines and solutions, including connected devices, software, digital workflow solutions, and related service offerings.
The Executive Director, PMM is accountable for global product portfolio performance, including revenue growth, profitability, market share development, product vitality, pricing strategy, product lifecycle management, and long-term portfolio planning. This role provides executive-level leadership over Product Managers, Product Specialists, Application Specialists and/or Application Scientists, as applicable, and ensures that global product strategies are aligned with overall business strategy, customer needs, market opportunities, and financial objectives.
This position serves as a strategic partner and coordination hub across Product Management, Sales, R&D, Application Engineering, Service, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Business Development, Global Marketing Communications, and regional leadership teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead a global Product Management & Marketing organization through direct and indirect leadership, ensuring clear accountability, strong execution, talent development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.
Act as executive-level business owner for assigned product portfolio performance, including revenue growth, profitability, market share development, pricing strategy, product vitality, and lifecycle profitability.
Use market intelligence data, including VoC, VoS, win/loss analysis, industry trends, market opportunity, competitor activities, and market share data, to define mid- and long-term product development priorities.
Lead the development, maintenance, and quarterly update of Product Road Maps (PRM) for assigned product lines, including clear product specifications, prioritization of features and functions, business case inputs, timing, dependencies, and expected business outcomes.
Lead the New Product Introduction (NPI) process from strategy through market launch, ensuring cross-functional alignment with Sales, Global Marketing Communications, Application Engineering, Service, and regional teams.
Define and govern pricing strategy for assigned products and solutions, ensuring regional execution supports revenue growth, margin expansion, competitive positioning, customer value, and efficient pricing implementation.
Build and maintain relationships with strategic key accounts, opinion leaders, OEMs, asset owners, and market influencers who shape broader market acceptance and future testing standards.

Pay Range $220,000 - $240,000 base salary depending on experience plus annual bonus target.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Marketing, or related field required; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
15+ years of progressive experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Strategy, General Management, Business Development, or related commercial leadership roles.
7+ years of people leadership experience, including leadership of senior professionals, managers, global teams, or highly specialized technical and commercial contributors.
Demonstrated experience owning or influencing global product portfolio strategy, P&L performance, roadmap governance, cross-functional business execution, and executive stakeholder alignment.
Experience in test and measurement, nondestructive testing, inspection technologies, industrial instrumentation, software-enabled products, or related technical markets is preferred.
Proficiency in data analysis for strategy development, performance reporting, problem solving, executive presentation, and decision support.
Ability to execute complex mid- to long-term projects according to plan while coordinating with a wide range of stakeholders.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 tools, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint; experience with product roadmap, portfolio planning, or project management tools is preferred.
Ability to travel internationally up to 30%.
