Who will you be working with?
You will be part of the KinetiX Engineering team, collaborating with global engineering teams, product management, and customer-facing service organizations to ensure the reliability and performance of TrackIQ product lines, including RailBAM/WCM systems and FleetOne Portal.
How will you make a difference?
As a member of the KinetiX Engineering division, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing TrackIQ systems for North America deployments. This role serves as the key engineering interface between customers, service teams, and global engineering, ensuring system performance, reliability, and continuous improvement.
You will lead efforts in system lifecycle management, troubleshooting, and deployment support, ensuring seamless operation and timely resolution of technical issues. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership and requirements traceability while coordinating system updates and enhancements aligned with customer needs and corporate standards.
What do we want to know about you?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or related field).
- Large experience of experience in engineering roles with strong background in hardware, software, and system integration.
- Proven experience in customer-facing technical support and sustaining engineering.
- Ability to work across global teams and coordinate cross-functional activities.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills (English required).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with railway inspection systems and applicable standards.
- Experience with field support operations and remote troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of configuration management and change control processes.
What will your typical day look like?
- Oversee deployment, upgrades, and configuration of TrackIQ systems.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and technical support to ensure system reliability.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for field issues.
- Act as the primary engineering contact for North American customers.
- Collaborate with PMs and TCRMs to ensure customer satisfaction and contractual compliance.
- Monitor product health and recommend preventive maintenance and enhancements.
- Coordinate escalations with global engineering teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and system updates.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Conduct gap analysis between base product design and customer-specific requirements.
