Job Description
Who will you be working with?
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including global design authorities, local production, manufacturing engineering (Methods Team), and supply chain.In this role, you will act as a key interface between engineering and production, ensuring effective communication and alignment across teams. You will also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address technical challenges and ensure smooth product transfer and delivery.
How will you make a difference?
As a Mechanical Engineer within the Charging Power and Transfer / Power Collection product group, you will play a key role in supporting product transfer, development, and optimization activities.You will provide technical expertise to resolve engineering challenges impacting safety, reliability, and performance, while ensuring alignment with global standards. Your contribution will help improve production readiness, prevent potential issues, and support efficient product lifecycle management.You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate engineering documentation and supporting continuous improvement initiatives such as Design for Manufacturing and Design to Cost.
What will your typical day look like?
- Supporting engineering activities for Charging Power and Transfer / Power Collection products
- Designing mechanical components and assemblies (2D/3D)
- Preparing and reviewing technical documentation (drawings, EBoMs, ECRs, ECOs, reports)
- Collaborating with production, systems engineering, and methods teams
- Resolving technical issues and supporting production activities
- Tracking engineering deliverables and maintaining project timelines
- Supporting product transfer and continuous improvement initiatives
- Engaging with global teams and suppliers when required
Qualifications
What do we want to know about you?
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product design and development (including validation and verification)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Mechanical design principles
- Manufacturing processes and techniques
- GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Hands-on experience in product development and component design
- Experience with CAD tools and systems such as:
- SolidWorks
- NX / Teamcenter
- ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple engineering tasks
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Fluent Polish and English
- Willingness to travel occasionally and valid category B driving license
