Who will you be working with?
Join Enterprise Information Security (EIS) to drive cybersecurity excellence leveraging intelligence, strategic partnerships and analysis. Collaborate daily with Security Operations, GRC and key Information Technology stakeholders to advance our information security capabilities.
How will you make a difference?
Join Enterprise Information Security and contribute to Wabtec Corporation’s cybersecurity program. As the Senior Intelligence Lead, reporting to the Team Lead, Intelligence, you will play a critical role in protecting the organization by transforming complex threat data into actionable intelligence that drives informed security decisions. By partnering closely with protections, response & risk analysts, you will ensure security controls are optimized to detect, prevent, and respond to evolving threats. You will elevate the maturity of the threat intelligence program, strengthen cross-functional collaboration and directly contribute to reducing organizational risk in an evolving threat landscape.
What do we want to know about you?
You must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, related field, or a minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity.
- Experience in cyber threat intelligence, including threat actor profiling, campaign tracking, tactics, techniques & procedures analysis and use of frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and D3FEND.
- Demonstrated ability to enumerate internal business insights, aligning threat intelligence efforts
- Excellent communication skills, with experience briefing technical teams, leadership, and stakeholders through written intelligence products and verbal presentations.
- Must be willing to work weekends/off-shift hours, as needed during cybersecurity incidents.
We would love it if you had:
- Strong understanding of modern cybersecurity technologies and defensive control strategies.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise security tools such as SIEM, EDR, SOAR, threat intelligence platforms, and cloud security controls.
- Effective project management skills.
- A passion for continuous improvement, including process maturity and operational efficiency.
- Ability to work independently with strong time management skills, consistently driving value and delivering results without direct supervision.
- Commitment to continuous learning in an evolving cybersecurity landscape.
What will your typical day look like?
- Utilize intelligence platforms and tools, such as TIP, SIEM, XDR, malware analysis environments and open-source and commercial intelligence sources.
- Familiarity with threat hunting concepts, including proactively analyzing logs, alerts, and telemetry to identify potential security threats beyond automated detections.
- Perform static and dynamic analysis of malware, sandboxing and understanding of attacker tooling, infrastructure, and delivery mechanisms.
- Partner with risk, response, content, and protections personnel to understand emerging threats, support active investigations and drive control tuning or enhancements.

- Occasionally light work that includes moving objects up to twenty pounds.

Work Environment: (Usual office job)
- Hybrid work schedule (both on-site and remote)
- The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment. During visits to areas of operations, they may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and loud noise.
