Key Responsibilities 

Responsibilities will vary based on allocation to specific finance verticals and may include 

Controllership, FP&A, Plant Finance 

  • Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and group reporting submissions. 

  • Support statutory, tax, SOX, and internal audits through data compilation and coordination with multiple stakeholders. 

  • Prepare MIS dashboards and conduct variance, trend, and financial performance analyses. 

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling 

  • Support costing activities, inventory control & audits, capex monitoring, Cost optimisation and preparation of plant-level MIS. 

  • Assist with standard cost calculations, BOM and routing validations, and standard vs. actual variance analysis (material, labour, overheads). 

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support system enhancement projects 

 

Direct Tax & Transfer Pricing 

  • Assist in advance tax computations and tax provision preparation. 

  • Assist in preparation of annual income-tax computations and review tax returns (Indian and foreign). 

  • Coordinate and support direct-tax audits, transfer-pricing audits, and internal/statutory audits. 

  • Assist in review of transfer-pricing studies and support in collation of audit evidence. 

  • Assist in preparation of submissions for assessments being managed in-house. 

  • Assist in providing day-to-day advisory on corporate and international direct-tax matters. 

  • Support the TDS compliance team with technical query resolution. 

  • Assist in assessing tax implications for new business transactions and deals. 

 

 

 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • CA Intermediate – Both Groups Cleared in First Attempt  

  • CA Rank Holder (AIR in CA Intermediate) preferred 

  • Completed first-year articleship from a Top 10 CA Firm (Big 4 or other leading firms) 

Key Competencies 

  • Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to interpret numbers in a strategic context. 

  • Proficiency in advanced Excel skills (financial modelling, forecasting, scenario analysis) and PowerPoint (structured storytelling). 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • High ownership mindset with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 

  • Demonstrated integrity and adherence to ethical standards 

  • Experience working on Oracle or SAP is an advantage
