Who will you be working with? The Senior Finance Analyst is a member of the finance team, with responsibility for providing financial support to finance and operational leadership to ensure ongoing sustainable success of the business. You will act as a true business partner, supporting the strategy and the value optimization/creation. Day-to-day, the role will have primary responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all finance-related activities of the business. You will have the ability to navigate a complex and dynamic business, and subsequently define and deliver processes, systems, and capabilities that continue to simplify and optimize the business.
How will you make a difference? This successful candidate will possess strong communication skills and possess the ability to collaborate with other team members locally and globally. The role will play an intergral part in integration of CarveCo Finance into Wabtec and cover the TSA exit.
What will your typical day look like?
Support financial activities related to operational processes (financial analysis and reporting, month-end close activities including journal entries if required, inventory reporting among others)
Serve as financial support to the operational teams involved in the region (Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Planning, Controlling)
Prepare scorecards on a daily basis
Prepare variances reports based on actual costs vs budget and respective analysis
Prepare inventory analysis per requests received as well as inventory reconciliations that match the balances
Collaborate with internal and external audit requirements per requests received
Collaborate with physical inventory audit when required
Adhere to internal controls and SOX compliance
Support In country Statutory tax requirements and compliance
Collaborate with additional reports, analysis and activities requested by operations and corporate finance
Support ERP implementation for region
What do we want to know about you?
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a financial position
knowledgeable in US GAAP, IRFS
Controllership experience in a multinational company
information systems/ERP system experience
Ability to operate in a complex environment; can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty.
Strong commitment to business ethics and integrity
Good communication in Korean and English essential
Preferably experienced working for Carve-out and Integration environment
