  • Key missions of the position:
  • Responsible for Fabrication Commodity Supplier System audits and KPI Monitoring and Control.
  • Performing Special Process Audits at Supplier Place (Welding, Painting, Platting, Reviting, Brazing).
  • Responsible for Light and Medium fabricated parts development at Various supplier across India.
  • Interaction with Global Customers (EMEA and North America Region) and Understand the Quality Requirement and Deploy the same at Indian Suppliers.
  • Working with Global Sourcing team for Identifying suitable supplier for Global and Domestic requirements.
  • Managing supplier Nonconformities and Corrective actions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Performing Inspection of Machined components, Welded and painted structures.
  • Performing Welding Inspection, NDT (Visual test, Dye Penetrant Test, Magnetic Particle test and Interpretation of radiography Film)
  • Developing PFD, PFMEA, Control plan and Agreement of Inspection.
  • Work with suppliers and Cross functional team for Improving QCD parameters through Process Improvements.
  • Investigate Quality Issues and to improve product quality.
  • Facilitate the Customer audit at Supplier place.
  • Interpret and evaluate quality inspection and test results.
  • Coordinate with customer for System Audits, Process audits and Product audits at supplier site, And take necessary action to close the NC points and Improvement points.
  • How many years of professional experience in a specific professional area are required for the position?

- Over all 6 to 12 years of experience in Fabricated parts Inspection.

- Knowledge of ISO / ASTM / ASME Material Standards, Inspection Standards,

Welding Standards, Dimensional Tolerances.

- Knowledge of Welding Process, Painting Process, Platting Process and Machining Process.

- NDT level- II certification in VT, PT, MT, RTFI is Preferred.

- Knowledge of Welding Fixture Design concepts.

- Knowledge of Welding Symbols.

- Knowledge of WPS, WPQR and Welder Qualification as per ISO 15614-1, ISO 9606-1.

- Knowledge of ISO 9001: 2015 System Audits.

- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Qualification is preferred.

- Knowledge on APQP, PPAP Process.

- Knowledge on Quality tools (5Why, Ishikawa Diagram, 8D Methodology).

- Knowledge on GD&D and Handling Precession Inspection Instruments (Micrometre, Bore Gauges, Etc)

- Basic Knowledge on Bridge CMM, and FARO ARM Inspection.
