Job Description

Partnering with the HR team, the Human Resource Representative will be responsible for the following HR initiatives:  making a positive impact on our company culture and employee experience, talent acquisition, employee development, wellness and benefits programs, leave requests, employee relations, and communicate company policies and practices.

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Partners with the HR team in developing employee focused programs to help drive and positively impact our company culture.
  • Participates in the overall recruiting function from sourcing to onboarding
  • Assists with the administration of employee benefits and wellness programs. This includes gaining a full understanding of both programs, communicating annual Open Enrollment, leading wellness initiatives, and maintaining company benefit records. 
  • Participates in creating employee centric programs and engages in assigned client base activities around the employee experience, compensation, disciplinary and leave matters, employee relations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition and morale, and training and development. 
  • Maintain employee files and HRIS database in compliance with legal requirements in an organized, timely, and confidential manner. 

Qualifications

Knowledge of: 

  • Employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Microsoft Office Suite or related software.  
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving tasks. 

Skill in: 

  • Verbal and written communication, including public speaking. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

Ability to: 

  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Communicate with all levels of the organization in a timely and professional manner. 
  • Prioritize and multitask multiple projects at a time. 
  • Manage time with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelors Degree in an HR or business related field, plus 1-6 years job-related experience. PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
