Job Description

We’re seeking applicants for a Project Controls Analyst. If you are detail oriented, analytical and a good communicator, this may be the job for you! In this role you ensure engineering projects stay within budget, track expenditures and timelines, and make any changes that might affect the project.  You compile data and process reports for management to determine whether or not changes should be made to a project. 

What You'll Do

·       Develop and track budgets related to engineering projects.

·       Support the development of project forecasts for both project budgets and schedules.

·       Develop initial project schedules and provide schedule tracking throughout the project.

·       Create monthly project reports with the support of project managers.

·       Generate project portfolio level reports and provides updates to project teams and management.

·       Provide overall support for projects as needed.

·       Effective communication skills:  Able to clearly present information through the spoken or written word; reads and interprets complex information; listens well.

 

Other requirements:

 ·       Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Accounting, or Business, or considerable relevant experience in utility engineering project management.

·       Knowledge of PMI based project management competency areas and methodologies and experience applying these methods to management of projects
