Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced staff accountant to join our growing team. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of duties related to preparing and maintaining financial records. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and demonstrated knowledge of technical and operational accounting functions are required. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create monthly general ledger transactions
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Assist in intercompany calculations, transactions, and reconciliations
  • Review financial transactions and general ledger entries prepared by accounting personnel
  • Prepare and review financial statements
  • Cross train with other accounting members to backup or fill in as needed
  • Support accounts payable activities

  • Work independently to make decisions and meet department deadlines

Knowledge of: 

  • Generally accepted accounting principles
  • Word and Excel
  • General office practices

Education and Experience:    

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required)
  • 1-3 years experience in accounting function (preferred)
